Driveguard GmbH is a Swiss chauffeur company based in Au on Lake Zurich. We drive private travellers, families, executives and diplomats in chauffeur-driven Mercedes cars, from a single airport transfer to whole days at your disposal. Day or night, across Switzerland and to or from its five neighboring countries, you travel at one fixed, all-inclusive price.
A good journey is one you hardly notice. The car is already waiting, your chauffeur knows your name and your plan, and all that is left for you is the view, a quiet call before the meeting or a few minutes of sleep after a long flight. That feeling of being looked after is what we work for on every drive.

Our story
Driveguard is our name and our promise: we drive, and we guard what matters to you along the way – your time, your privacy and your peace of mind. In practice it means one company is responsible for your journey, from your first message to the moment the door closes behind you, at a price agreed before you travel.
From our base in Au on Lake Zurich we run a chauffeur service in Switzerland that is on the road day and night: at Zurich Airport before the first flights land, outside a Lucerne hotel after a late dinner, on the road to Zermatt in the middle of a snowy week. Our clients are private travellers and families on holiday, executives between meetings, diplomats and public figures who value discretion, and the assistants, concierges and travel agencies who book on their behalf.
What they all get is the same: a licensed chauffeur service in Switzerland, a car in the class they booked and one contact from the first message to the drop-off.

Our promises
Every chauffeur company promises comfort. We would rather tell you exactly what you get: the same things our Terms and Conditions say, without the legal language.
Your fixed price covers the car, the chauffeur, fuel, parking, airport access, Swiss and foreign road tolls, the motorway vignette, tunnels, and the car train or ferry if your route needs one. Nothing from the road is added afterwards.
Two days before pickup you receive your chauffeur's name and mobile number, so there is always a person you can reach directly.
We track your flight and wait for you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Up to 60 minutes of waiting is included, counted from the moment your plane actually lands, so a delay never eats into it.
Change the time, the address or the route up to 12 hours before pickup, without an administration fee, and cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before.
Around Christmas, New Year, Easter and WEF week, prices are higher. If your booking falls on one of these dates, we tell you after booking, and if you would rather not pay the difference, you cancel free of charge.
If we cannot provide a journey you booked and cannot offer a suitable replacement, you get your money back for it. For anything else that did not feel right, write to info@driveguard.ch within seven days and a person will look into it.
Child seats are free on request, pets are welcome when you tell us in advance, and every car is non-smoking. The full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
Our chauffeurs
A chauffeur who understands you makes a long drive feel short. Our chauffeur network includes drivers who speak English, German, Russian, Greek and Romanian. Whether you need an English-speaking driver in Switzerland for a week of meetings, a Russian-speaking driver in Zurich for a family holiday or a German-speaking chauffeur for a day in the mountains, tell us when you book and we will arrange it, subject to availability.

As a licensed chauffeur service in Switzerland, every Driveguard chauffeur holds the B121 licence for professional passenger transport. Driveguard also carries business liability insurance with AXA of up to CHF 10,000,000.
Every Driveguard journey is driven by one of our own chauffeurs or by a vetted, licensed and insured partner. Whoever is at the wheel, Driveguard stays your single contact from booking to drop-off, your price and conditions stay exactly the same, and your plans and conversations stay in the car.
Our fleet
Driveguard runs a fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars in four classes. You choose the class and we send the car: the E-Class / EQE for up to three passengers, the S-Class / EQS when the journey deserves the flagship, the V-Class for seven passengers and six large cases, and the V-Class Lux for six in individual seats.
You book a class rather than one specific car. If a car has to be replaced, you receive an equivalent or higher class at no extra cost. Compare the whole Mercedes fleet.

We are based on Lake Zurich, but our map is much bigger: every Swiss city, lake and ski resort, and across the border to Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Liechtenstein whenever your pickup or drop-off is in Switzerland, with no change of car at the border. Where most chauffeur services stop in Täsch, we hold a permit to take you to the edge of car-free Zermatt, where your hotel's electric car can take you the last minutes to the door.
