THE FULL-WEEK PACKAGE

One driver. One vehicle. The entire Forum week. Your dedicated chauffeur and vehicle are assigned to you for the whole Annual Meeting – the same driver every day, briefed on your schedule, your venues and your preferences. Your Forum week package includes:

  • Airport arrival: Meet & greet at Zurich Airport with real-time flight monitoring, then a direct drive to Davos (around 150 km, typically 2–2.5 hours) in full comfort.
  • On call throughout the day: Congress Centre sessions, bilaterals, side events along the Promenade, dinners in Davos and Klosters, late receptions. Ten chauffeur hours are included per day and can be extended by the hour.
  • The same chauffeur all week: No re-briefing, no coordination overhead – your driver learns your rhythm by day two.
  • A mobile office between meetings: Wi-Fi, charging ports, bottled water and a quiet, private cabin for calls.
  • Full regional coverage: Davos and Klosters, plus trips to St. Moritz, Zurich or across the border when your agenda demands it.
  • Departure transfer: Back to Zurich Airport, timed to your flight.

WHY A DEDICATED WEF CHAUFFEUR

During the Annual Meeting, Davos operates under a security regime unlike any other week of the year. On-demand transport is effectively unavailable – taxis are scarce, ride-hailing barely functions, and access roads are controlled. A dedicated chauffeur is not a luxury at WEF – it is how the week actually works for senior participants.

  • Road closures and checkpoints: Parts of Davos are restricted during the Forum. Our drivers hold the local knowledge to navigate checkpoints and use the approved drop-off points efficiently.
  • A schedule from 07:00 to midnight: Breakfast briefings, back-to-back bilaterals, evening receptions – your car is where you left it, waiting.
  • Alpine winter conditions: January in Davos means snow, ice and sub-zero temperatures at 1,560 m altitude. Our chauffeurs are trained for winter mountain driving and every vehicle runs full winter equipment.
  • Confidentiality: The conversations you hold in the car during Davos week are often the ones that matter most. Our chauffeurs are professionals bound to strict discretion.

WEF 2027: Dates and Getting Around Davos

World Economic Forum sign at the Davos Congress Centre in winter

When is WEF 2027? The 57th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum takes place Monday 18 to Friday 22 January 2027 at the Congress Centre in Davos, Switzerland, gathering around 3,000 leaders from government, business and civil society.

How do participants get to Davos? Most international attendees fly into Zurich Airport (ZRH) and travel the roughly 150 km to Davos by road – around 2 to 2.5 hours with a private chauffeur, door to door.

Can you drive in Davos during WEF? Access is restricted and parking is nearly non-existent during Forum week. A chauffeur who knows the WEF traffic plan is the practical way to move between venues, hotels and side events.

For a full logistics briefing – accreditation, hotels, side events and more – read our WEF Davos 2027 transportation guide for executives.

Delegations, Corporate Teams and Security

Sending a team to Davos? Driveguard coordinates multi-vehicle fleets for WEF delegations – mixed sedans and vans, one logistics contact, synchronised movements between hotels, the Congress Centre and side events. We regularly support corporate events and conferences across Switzerland, and Forum week is where that experience shows.

For principals requiring enhanced security, our executive protection services add security-trained drivers and close protection personnel to your Forum week arrangement – one provider, one briefing, complete discretion. Our chauffeurs are licensed, insured and multilingual – English, German and Russian spoken.
