WEF 2027: Dates and Getting Around Davos

When is WEF 2027? The 57th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum takes place Monday 18 to Friday 22 January 2027 at the Congress Centre in Davos, Switzerland, gathering around 3,000 leaders from government, business and civil society.
How do participants get to Davos? Most international attendees fly into Zurich Airport (ZRH) and travel the roughly 150 km to Davos by road – around 2 to 2.5 hours with a private chauffeur, door to door.
Can you drive in Davos during WEF? Access is restricted and parking is nearly non-existent during Forum week. A chauffeur who knows the WEF traffic plan is the practical way to move between venues, hotels and side events.

Delegations, Corporate Teams and Security
Sending a team to Davos? Driveguard coordinates multi-vehicle fleets for WEF delegations – mixed sedans and vans, one logistics contact, synchronised movements between hotels, the Congress Centre and side events. We regularly support corporate events and conferences across Switzerland, and Forum week is where that experience shows.
For principals requiring enhanced security, our executive protection services add security-trained drivers and close protection personnel to your Forum week arrangement – one provider, one briefing, complete discretion. Our chauffeurs are licensed, insured and multilingual – English, German and Russian spoken.

Davos WEF Chauffeur Service – Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a chauffeur cost during WEF in Davos?
Driveguard’s dedicated chauffeur service starts from CHF 999 per day for a Mercedes E-Class, with 10 chauffeur hours and 300 km included each day; rates vary by vehicle class. Full-week packages for 18–22 January 2027 are quoted individually.
How far in advance should I book a WEF chauffeur?
Demand for Forum week exceeds vehicle supply every year. Most full-week reservations are confirmed by October–November; we recommend booking as early as possible and no later than early December 2026.
Do I keep the same driver for the whole week?
Yes. A full-week booking assigns one dedicated chauffeur and one vehicle to you for the entire Annual Meeting, 18–22 January 2027.
Can you provide several vehicles for a delegation?
Yes. We coordinate multi-vehicle fleets – sedans and vans combined – with a single point of contact for your delegation’s full Forum week logistics.
Is the Zurich Airport transfer included in the week package?
Yes. Arrival and departure transfers between Zurich Airport and Davos are built into full-week bookings, with meet & greet and real-time flight monitoring.
How do you handle WEF road closures and security zones?
Our chauffeurs work Forum week every year. They know the checkpoint locations, the approved drop-off points near the Congress Centre and the practical routes around Davos and Klosters during the security regime.
Are your chauffeurs discreet?
Yes. Discretion is a condition of employment at Driveguard. Our drivers routinely serve executives, diplomats and public figures.
Can my driver take me outside Davos during the week?
Of course. Klosters, St. Moritz, Zurich and cross-border trips to Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Liechtenstein are all covered within your booking terms.
