Two days before pickup you receive your chauffeur's name and mobile number. From then on there is one person to call if the dinner moves, the flight is late or a guest joins, in English, German, Russian, Greek or Romanian.

We plan the departure around the start time, the traffic of the day and the organisers' road plan. For an airport pickup we follow your flight live, and the first hour of waiting is included.

Most guests book a private driver for events in one of three ways. The only difference is whether your chauffeur drops you and leaves, stays for the evening, or stays for the whole event.

The simplest way to arrive: a fixed-price drive from Zurich Airport, your hotel or your home to the event, and a second transfer home at the time you choose. The calendar above shows the price from Zurich Airport for each event, in every Mercedes class.
For the Zurich Opera House, a concert at the Tonhalle or the Hallenstadion, or a gala dinner at a lakeside hotel, book your event chauffeur in Zurich by the hour. The car waits close by while you are inside, and a four-hour evening in the E-Class costs CHF 436 with 100 km and every wait included.
For Art Basel's preview days, a polo weekend or a week in St. Moritz, keep the same chauffeur and Mercedes from breakfast to the last dinner, with 10 hours and 300 km a day. Nights more than about an hour from Zurich add the chauffeur's hotel at CHF 150. In Davos during the World Economic Forum, Forum-week rates apply and hourly bookings are not available.

A private transfer to White Turf St. Moritz, the Snow Polo World Cup or The I.C.E. takes around 2 hours 45 minutes from Zurich Airport and costs CHF 702 in the E-Class, or CHF 822 in a V-Class for up to seven guests. After heavy snowfall the drive takes longer, so we plan the departure with extra time. The same private transfer takes confirmed guests of CfC St. Moritz to Suvretta House.
Which airport is closer for the Verbier Festival and Crans-Montana?
Geneva Airport is about an hour closer: around 2 hours to Verbier, from CHF 520, and around 2 hours 15 minutes to Crans-Montana, from CHF 582, in the E-Class. From Zurich Airport the drive takes around 3 hours 05 minutes to Verbier (CHF 856) and around 3 hours 20 minutes to Crans-Montana (CHF 913). Guests arriving by private plane can also be met at Sion Airport, around 30 km from Crans-Montana.
Can a chauffeur drive me to Zermatt for Zermatt Unplugged?
Yes, all the way to the edge of the village: around 3 hours 30 minutes from Zurich Airport, from CHF 768 in the E-Class. Zermatt is car-free and most transfers end in Täsch, where guests change to the shuttle train; Driveguard holds a special permit to drive to the edge of Zermatt and arranges your hotel’s electric car for the last minutes to the door.
Can my chauffeur wait during the event?
Yes, when you book by the hour or by the day: from CHF 109 per hour with 25 km per hour included, or CHF 999 for 10 hours and 300 km, and every wait is in the price. With a one-way transfer the chauffeur drops you and leaves, so book the return as a second transfer at the time you choose. What happens if the event runs late?
With an hourly or daily booking your chauffeur can stay longer when the schedule allows, charged at your hourly rate, or at the extra-hour rate once a day booking passes 10 hours. On a transfer booking, send us the new time on WhatsApp: the first 30 minutes of waiting at a pickup outside the airport are included, and further waiting is charged in 30-minute steps at the hourly rate.

Can you drive a group or a delegation to an event?
Yes. For a group, our chauffeured event transportation starts with a Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 guests and 6 large suitcases, from CHF 393 to Art Basel or CHF 822 to St. Moritz. For larger groups we coordinate several cars through one contact. Companies can pay by invoice, and a chauffeur trained as an unarmed bodyguard can be added for 20% on top.
How far ahead should I book a chauffeur for a major event?
As soon as your dates are fixed. Hotels and chauffeurs in St. Moritz, Davos, Basel and Gstaad are reserved weeks ahead of the big events, and for the World Economic Forum in January we recommend reserving by early December. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup, so an early booking costs you nothing if plans change.
